This silver bangle is crafted from a pair of Britannia Silver Sugar Tongs.  Britannia silver has a higher silver content than sterling silver and as such is a rare and unusual find.

This lovely bangle offers the opportunity to expand the historical story of spoon rings to co-ordinating jewellery. It has been hand crafted from a beautifully simple antique Britannia silver pair of sugar tongs. The bracelet has a diameter of approx. 6.5 cm but can be adjusted slightly to suit your requirements so please do let me know if you need a different size. The sugar tongs are fully hallmarked (Makers mark Thomas Bradbury, Lion Passant, assayed in London in 1901)
