Product Description

This lovely bangle offers the opportunity to expand the historical story of spoon rings to co-ordinating jewellery. It has been hand crafted from a beautifully simple antique sterling silver pair of sugar tongs. The bracelet has a diameter of approx. 6.5 cm and weighs 19.8 grams it can be adjusted slightly to suit your requirements so please do let me know if you need a different size. The sugar tongs are fully hallmarked (Makers mark Herbert Edward Barker & Frank Ernest Barker, Lion Passant, assayed in Chester in 1910).

Silver hallmarked in Chester is rare because no silversmiths were operating in the town after 1820 and the assay office was ultimately closed by Act of Parliament in 1962.

It will come packaged with a hand made unbleached cotton bag featuring a hand painted little bird
