This lovely bangle offers the opportunity to expand the historical story of spoon rings to co-ordinating jewellery. It has been hand crafted from a beautifully simple antique sterling silver pair of sugar tongs. The bracelet has a diameter of approx. 6.5cm but can be adjusted slightly to suit your requirements so please do let me know if you need a different size. This rare and unusual bangle uses sugar tongs designed to celebrate Queen Victoria as the longest reigning Monarch, surpassed recently by Queen Elizabeth II, but nevertheless a symbol of the time. The sugar tongs are fully hallmarked (Makers mark Joseph Gloster, Lion Passant, assayed in Birmingham in 1896). This bracelet weighs 16.6 grams

It will come packaged with a hand made unbleached cotton bag featuring a hand painted little bird
